BizPlace is increasingly consolidating its position in the market for innovative SMEs and Small Caps.

BizPlace’s client portfolio is growing more and more comprised of innovative SMEs and flourishing companies with revenues between 1 and 10 million euros. They are looking for capital to expand into new markets, internationalize their business or strengthen production lines.

This segment is called “Small Cap” in slang, referring to all the small and medium-sized enterprises that are growing and have a turnover of less than 10 million. Since the beginning of 2019, the portfolio of companies that are followed by the BizPlace advisory have seen the number of SMEs (high¬† in innovative content) grow more and more compared to startups. Allowing the company to be one of the very few advisories in Italy to be positioned in the small cap and innovation segment at the same time.

Why this change of direction for BizPlace towards companies in a more advanced segment? As already mentioned, it has been noted that there are many innovative SMEs in the Italian market. Though, often not yet structured and ready to try and raise capital, precisely because there are few advisories working with this specific focus. Bizplace, on the other hand, has chosen to concentrate part of its focus on this sector, because it considers it an important market with great development possibilities.
